We strive to achieve our Client’s vision and goals as cost-effective and practically as possible, whilst still upholding our ethical responsibilities in accordance with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) Code of conduct.
Bellcon was established in 2019 to provide both design and management services to our Clients across a variety of construction projects.
Ashley Bellato, Founder and CEO, leads the Engineering Design and Management Services. Ashley completed his Bsc, Civ. Engineering with Honours, and worked as a contractor, site project manager and resident engineer.
During this time, Ashley worked with Shell, Coca Cola, Heineken, PRASA, Mercedes, and DEVMCO Group. During 2019 through to 2021, Ashley worked full time as a Design Engineer and Team Leader at a professional consultant engineering firm, and opened Bellcon in 2019 for part-time operations. In 2021, Ashley moved full-time to Bellcon (Pty) Ltd where it began operating full-time, opening its Head Office in La Lucia, KZN.
Ashley has gained invaluable experience working with large-scale Clients throughout his career and can therefore offer Clients practical advice across both commercial and residential sectors.

Ashley Bellato is the visionary force behind Bellcon. Born and raised in Durban, he graduated from Glenwood High School and earned his BSc Degree with Honours from the University of Cape Town. With over 12 years of industry experience, Ashley has excelled as both a contractor and consultant for leading companies, contributing to projects valued at over R1 billion.
His passion for civil and structural engineering drives him to develop efficient solutions to complex challenges. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys music, sports, and spending quality time with his wife and son.
